Abstract
Turbine axiale pour être mise en rotation par la force cinétique du vent ou avec une pression d'eau. Elle peut avoir de un à cinq étages. L'anneau 1, le cône 2, le collecteur 3, la tuyère 4, les déflecteurs 5 et 6, les pales 7 et 8, le support 9 des pales 7 qui est solidaire de l'arbre de transmission et le support 10 des pales 8 qui est monté en roue libre. Les déflecteurs 5 sont là pour canaliser le flux sur la première rangée de pales, et peuvent par leur pivotement sur un axe, remplir l'office de volets régulateur de la vitesse de rotation de la turbine. Les déflecteurs 6 rétablissent le flux après son passage dans les pales 7. Les pales 7 et 8 ont un profil ménisque convergent evolutif et de mince épaisseur. Les volets déviateurs 13 peuvent remplacer la tuyère.
