Abstract

Fully automatic process for regenerating filters in general, but more specifically intended for filtering liquids, and filter for carrying out such process. The regeneration process takes place according to a precisely sequenced cycle at the end of which a concentrated solution of sediments is collected allowing a direct elimination of the latter. The filter allowing to carry out such a process is provided with appropriate means (6) ensuring an efficient unclogging of the filtering elements (16). Application to the filtration of a circuit with circulating fluids which can be contaminated such as for example the secondary circuit of a nuclear reactor.
