Abstract

The frame for an open fire consists of two trestles which carry a roasting spit and which can be used as a grill. They extend from front to rear each side of the hearth. Each trestle consists of a base (1) and detachable elements (15, 16, 23, 24) which can be fitted vertically and connected to each other. They can form stands (3) or fuel supports (2) or any desired combination. Each base has holes for pins of similar shape.
