Abstract

The device for sweep voltage of CRO permits automatic selection of sweep speed as a function of pulse width and allows analysis of narrow pulses with significant repetition rate. Sync. pulse from source (2) is applied to sync. block (1) and wave shaping circuit (4). A pulse polarity selector (8) allows choice of pulse polarity from the wave shaping circuit. These are applied via a switch (12) to a differentiator (18) and sweep speed measuring circuit (20). This issues command to a generator (6) to vary the sweep speed so that sync. pulse occupies a number of divisions on tube (29) screen.
