Abstract

The electric convector heater has a heating element extending the full length of the housing incorporated in an assembly supported by brackets (5) near the bottom, with a sloping deflector sheet (4) each side, extending upwards. The housing is rectangular with a slot (6, 7) across top and bottom for the whole lenth for cooling air. The main air entry (3) is through the bottom, and the other two have sloping baffle portions (9, 10) behind them. The lower front entry (7) is level with the heating element, and the upper front entry is adjacent a louvred top output (2), cooling the front edge (12).
