Abstract

The equipment comprises a power driven hydraulic pump drawing liq. from a container. The pump delivers liq. via a pipe terminating with a directional nozzle discharging tiny droplets of liq. into the atmos. The nozzle can be free for manipulation by an operator or fixed to delivery always in the same position. A fixed nozzle can be installed inside air conditioning ducting to deliver downstream into air current. When located to delivery into an air conditioning duct or open atmos., the pump is pref. operated intermittently by a programmed timer. For manual use, the nozzle can be fitted at the end of a pipe lance so that walls and ceilings can be directly sprayed. The spray is liq. droplets rather than an air/liq. emulsion. Consequently, a compact unit can delivery liq. at a faster rate than previous equipment.
