Abstract

The multiple-disc ridging implement has a number of concave discs mounted obliquely one behind the other in opposite right- and left hand lines forming a V. The concave sides of the discs are towards the inside, and they are mounted on longitudinal members adjustable for clearance and angle. The members in turn are secured to a frame fitting on a tractor. The scrapers can be adjusted so as to regulate the direction in which the earth is projected in addition to cleaning the discs, and the rearmost discs can be of larger diameter than the others.
