Abstract

The shock absorbing trailer coupling has a fixed part forming the support frame and an interior part which can move slightly. The outer part is attached to the tractor and is quadrilateral body formed of steel plates with internal reinforcement. Positioning spindles are fixed at the upper and lower parts, they are screwed at their ends and have a nut. They carry rubber cylinders resistant in compression and moving rods which position against the rubbers. Stops are incorporated in the assembly. Flexibility can be given by springs instead of rubber cylinders.
