Abstract
The continuous flow heater has a combustion chamber, which is surrounded by a heat exchanger. The latter lies between a chamber casing (4) delimiting the combustion chamber (2), and an outer housing wall (6) which comprises a deflection area (17) for combustion gases. Provided at an axial distance from a deflection base (16) of the deflection area is an outer end wall (15) of the housing, which, with the deflection base (16) and the housing wall (6), surrounds a vibration area (18). The latter serves as a suction area and is connected to the deflecting area by an acoustic/pneumatic throttle zone (24).
