Abstract

A scraper can be moved to and fro over a stocking area to move products within. A motor driven reduction gear box is provided at one end of the installation which drives a pulley. The pulley drives a single cable over pulleys provided on each side of the longitudinal axis of the installation. There is a double run of cable on each side, one of each pair of runs is connected to the scraper. The gearbox is mounted on a displaceable support which is elastically biassed to tension the cable. The motor is reversible.
