Abstract

The generator comprises a sealed outer tank (1) made of an insulating fireproof material containing an independent sealed inner tank (4) fixed axially with peripheral spacing and fitted internally with several banks of open pipes (6) passing longitudinally through it, these pipes being heated by their outer surfaces and arranged transversely in a grid pattern. The pipes occupy the volumetric space while reserving at their base a raised free axial space (0) which forms a combustion chamber and which is surrounded on three sides by a bank of pipes so that it receives the incandescent gases from the burner (16) arranged outside the tank (1). One side of the combustion chamber communicates with a sleeve (9) which connects the two tanks (1, 4) and whose outer opening receives the flame from the burner (16), while an external fan (12) causes air to circulate in the pipes (6) so that it is heated by contact and is discharged into the premises through a duct (14).
