Abstract

Le câble à fabriquer, armé de fils ronds ou plats, comporte une âme torsadée constituée de conducteurs 11, etc, déroulés par des bobines 10, etc, tournant à poste fixe autour d'un axe dirigé suivant le sens du déplacement des conducteurs. Le câble terminé est reçu à un poste de sortie 23 et enroulé sur un touret. L'âme torsadée est soumise à un mouvement de rotation axé sur le câble. Immédiatement après avoir tordu ensemble les conducteurs 11, etc, on enroule autour les fils d'armature déroulés par des bobines tournant autour des conducteurs, à l'inverse du sens de torsion de l'âme. La machine conforme à l'invention comporte à cet effet un banc de gainage 17 pour enrouler les fils d'armature autour des conducteurs. Application à la fabrication des câbles armés, tels que câbles téléphoniques, câbles souterrains d'alimentation électrique, ou câbles à conducteurs multiples.
