Abstract

L'invention concerne un système pour la granulation des scories fondues provenant de fours de métallurgie. Le système comprend un bac 12 muni de buses 14 par lesquelles on projette la scorie fondue 13 sur une cible conique 4 dont la surface de collision est constituée d'un matériau tel que la scorie n'y adhère pas et rebondit sur la cible sous forme de granules. Les granules sont récupérées et refroidies dans un échangeur de chaleur 15. L'ensemble du système est recouvert d'une enveloppe 17. Ce système permet de transformer des scories en un produit utilisable dans l'industrie, fabrication de béton par exemple, et de récupérer et réutiliser la chaleur dégagée par les scories.
