Abstract

The self-propelled flat wagon is used to gather harvested vegetables or fruit such as melons, the driver's post being sited at the front. This enables a single driver to supervise the loading of the produce. The post may be close to the ground and may cantilever forward of one of the front driving wheels, the steering gear being of the conventional type with a steering wheel.
