Abstract

The inner part (12) of the covering collar is connected to the window case (11). The inner part (12) has, on the outwardly located connection side, a bead (13) which is open towards the window side. The bead (13) is covered over by the covering-over part (15) of the outer compensation part (14). The covering-over part (15) has, on its edge, a bent-over portion (16) which projects into the interior of the bead (13). In this manner, the compensation part (14) is fastened such that, even with only a narrow underlying surface, it is located, such that it cannot tilt, by a thin roof batten. The tilting or raising of the compensation part (14) is thus avoided.

Description

 The invention relates to a cover collar intended for dormer windows or similar roof recesses and comprising an internal part located on the window box and connected to it, and a compensation piece to be connected to the sides according to a first mounting possibility and susceptssle, in the case of a very narrow roof opening, to be mounted also according to a second mounting possibility.

 It is known to place the external compensation piece freely on the internal part by covering the edge. A drawback of this construction is that the external compensation piece must be applied largely flat to the flat state on a board fixed in the roof, because it otherwise results9 as a result of the pressure of the tiles on the sealing joint. , an overturning torque by which the compensating part is raised on the side of the internal part.A reversal or an uplift, even of only a few millimeters, easily leads, as is known to non-sealing.

 The object of the present invention is to improve a cover collar of the type mentioned above, so that the compensation piece is simply fixed in the first position of use on the internal part of the cover collar, so that this is also in the invertable state also in the case of a very narrow support, formed by a thin roof batten or also only during a point support and is fixed sufficiently, if necessary even without any support, on the internal part of the compensation piece, while being flush with it and can also be mounted according to a second narrower mounting possibility over the entire width.

To achieve this goal, a cover collar of the type mentioned above is proposed, the characteristics of which are described in detail below, as well as in the claims appended to this specification.

The internal part 12 dru cover collar is
connected in the usual way to the window casing 11. The flock
let 13, which is open on the side of the window, is on the side
outside, on this internal part 12. In the first possibility
mounting, the bead 13 is covered by the covering part

cover 15 has, at its end, a fold 16 which, in
this possibility of mounting, penetrates inside the bead

When, for reasons of construction on the
roof, only a relatively small mounting width is available

internal 12, in accordance with FIG. 4. In this position, it can be screwed or tightened additionally by means not shown. In this case, the straight bar 21 serves as a stop of a certain type and also forms a water evacuation path relative to the window casing. The straight bar 21 can also be folded at its upper end.

 This fold can be used, inter alia, for the embedding of the sealing sheet which is desired, as an additional seal at specific locations on the roof.

The straight bar 21 may however be totally lacking and the compensation piece 14 may be applied directly to the side of the window casing. The compensating part 14 can also be placed, for space-saving transport, only on the internal part 12. On the premises, this part 14 is attached, on the roof, to the internal part of the cover collar. The fold 16 can be formed in such a way that the external compensating part 14 can be pushed from above onto the bead 13 by the covering part 15, the external compensating part 14 being able to be held almost parallel to the internal part 12 of the cover collar. This possibility of coupling this part and this part to each other exists in particular when the fold 16 is only small.

 By continuing to fold this fold 16, the part and the part considered are securely coupled to one another.

The fold 16 does not necessarily have to be present on the entire longitudinal side of the dormer; it is enough for small and narrow sheet metal tabs to be folded back.

 The fold 16 can however also develop in particular over the entire length of the skylight when this fold is already made at the factory and the part 14 is then raised for the purpose of transport, as shown in FIG. 2.

This raised transport position can also be established for the U-shaped bead construction 18.

Outside the circular straight sections or in
U described, the bead may also have another form of appropriate cross section.

 In all the possible execution types where the fold 16 penetrates inside the bead 13 or 18 in the mounting position, a connection of the internal part 12 with the compensation piece 14 or their separation is possible, for example, on site, also without bending any parts. For the separation or the connection of these elements, the compensation piece 14 is maintained approximately at an angle of 30 to 900 relative to the internal part 12.

 In this position, the end of the fold 16 must be brought before the end of the bead 13 or 18 and must be pushed inside this bead. By then folding the compensation piece 14, it is applied to the outer surface of the bead 13 or 18.
