L'INVENTION S'APPLIQUE NOTAMMENT AUX CAPTEURS D'OXYGENE DANS DES GAZ D'ECHAPPEMENT POUR VEHICULES AUTOMOBILES.THE INVENTION RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR SPRAYING A PLATINUM ON A BODY OF SOLID ELECTROLYTE FOR OXYGEN SENSOR ELECTRODE IN EXHAUST GASES. THE ELECTRODE IS SPRAYED INTO AN ATMOSPHERE CONTAINING ESSENTIALLY MORE THAN 50 OXYGEN AND OR NITROGEN BY VOLUME. SENSORS WITH LOW AND SYMMETRICAL TRANSITION TIMES ARE THUS PRODUCED. THE INVENTION APPLIES IN PARTICULAR TO OXYGEN SENSORS IN EXHAUST GASES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES.
