Abstract

The convector unit is the form of a flat tube and comprises two sides fastened together, leaving a space between. This space is used to locate an electrical heating element arranged longitudinally, the sides being kept apart by bushes and spacers. A longitudinal slot top and bottom permits air to flow over the elements and a fan can be fitted into the base of the unit to assist this effect. If required, one side of the flattened tube can be formed by similar flat tubes filled with heat conducting liquid.
