Abstract

Thienyl 1-amino butyl ketones of formula (I) and their salts are new where R is C1 or 1-3C alkyl; R1 and R2, together with the N atom, form a pyrrolidino, piperidino, perhydroazepino, 4-methyl piperidino' morpholino or N-methyl piperazino. (I) are prepd. by reacting the corresp. thienyl 1-bromo-butyl ketone with HNR1R2 in an organic solvent, such as benzene, by refluxing for 3 hours.
