Abstract

The independent wheel suspension smooths out bumps as there are flexible elastomer rubber stops (Ke) joined to the wheels by an assembly of arms (1,2,3) giving a force multiplication. The arm assembly is parallel to the vehicle longitudinal axis. The assembly is also vertical to the above axis. The stations of the wheel side arm (1) and the flexible element side arm (2) are different. The flexible elements press against one another on part of the chassis. This part can be deliberately moved or rotated.
