Abstract
The building solar-heating system comprises a collector on a wall exposed to the sunrays and which has a greenhouse effect. The collector is closed off from the outside by a glass panel and from the inside of the building to be heated by a heat-accumulating and conductive wall (4) with openings (12,11) at top and bottom for air circulation in a closed circuit through it and the building. The collector space (7) also contains tubes (10) filled with fusible material, whose melting point is above the temp. to which the building is heated but at a level normally reached by strong sunlight when heating, e.g. in the region of 50 deg. C. Thus the tubes accumulate heat in the form of sensible heat and latent heat of fusion.
