Abstract

The manure or fodder spreader comprises a storage truck with a chute for delivering the material to the spreading mechanism. The latter incorporates a fan (14) generating a transporting air current in a passage which has a portion converging to a narrow throat (17-18). The material feed mechanism is an archimedean screw which discharges (31) at a point near the throat. Downstream of the latter there can be a side discharge (19) with an adjustable deflector (21).
