Abstract

The type of decorative light fitting has a light source, a piece of rigid or flexible material which is transparent over at least a third of its surface. The pipe contains a liquid and gas which circulates in it. The intensity and colour of the light can be adjusted and there is a gas entry and a method of suspending the assembly. The liq. is water, coloured by a solvent colourant and the gas is air. The intensity and colour can be adjusted by programming, manually, or by other means, and is thus able to keep in time with a musical accompaniment.
