Abstract
Un faisceau d'électrons 1 est soumis à un champ magnétique B constant dans le temps dirigé suivant l'axe XX, suivant lequel il se propage, et au champ électromagnétique de volumes résonnants placés sur son trajet. Ces volumes sont excités à la fréquence cyclotronique fc des électrons dans le champ B par une source couplée par l'antenne 5. Une puissance sur une fréquence voisine d'un multiple nfC de la fréquence cyclotronique est recueillie dans la charge 8 couplée par 6. Dans l'exemple, les volumes consistent en un guide unique 20 dont la section circulaire 2 a été déformée suivant 3 et 4; le faisceau d'électrons est issu du canon 10, 12, 14. Application : générateurs d'ondes radioélectriques de puissance sur quelques dizaines de gigahertz, pour radars notamment.
