Abstract
L'invention concerne un alliage désoxydant à base de silicium. En introduisant, dans un alliage contenant de 60 à 80 % de silicium, de 0,5 à 2 % de magnésium, on combine à la fois l'effet désoxydant du magnésium, le brassage par les vapeurs de magnésium et la globulisation des inclusions de silicate de magnésium. Application à la désoxydation des aciers de tous types.
