Abstract

A manual electrical apparatus is used which melts the wax for depilation, keeps it liquid and applies it to the body. It has a handle (A) joined to a reservoir (B) which holds the wax. There is a large opening at the top of the reservoir and a small opening at the bottom for application. The reservoir is heated by resistors (7) inside the double wall (6) of the reservoir. The small opening is opened and closed by a valve (10), which swivels around a hinge (11) and is moved manually by a rod, a set of levers and a catch (5) on the handle.
