Abstract

The centrifugal distributor is particularly for powdery or granular fertilisers, having distribution channels inclined and open to the front and partly at the top. The channels are angled rearwards for their entire length from the respective radii, and rotate about a vertical axis. The external portion of each channel is curved obliquely upwards from the plane of rotation, and is supplied via a passage whose section is regulated by a shutter pivoting on the rotational axis. The curvature of the external portion of each channel increases continuously and extends the opposite way to the direction of rotation. After the curve, the channels extend sharply upwards to give an upwards ejection angle of approximately 45 degrees.
