Abstract

The liquefied gas tank incorporates a vapouriser of the heat exchanger type with connections passing through the tank wall. The heat exchanger is movable, with flexible connecting pipes (2,3). It is permanently immersed near the free surface of the liquid, being fixed to a float. The float may be in the form of an open or perforated casing, open at the bottom and covering the exchanger so as to trap part of the gas escaping from it. It may work in an appropriate guide, typically a swing arm (12) pivoting on it at one end and at the other at a point inside the tank.
