Abstract

A blow moulding machine for thermoplastics has a multipart mould in a moving frame on moving bearers which are carried on two bars underneath the mould. The mould bearers have an upper bolting device to lock them when the mould is charged; this device is at one corner of a triangle in the plane of sepn. of the mould halves, the other corners being produced by the axes of the bars. System uses two bars at the bottom of the mould closure frame but without permitting the mould to bend or open.
