Abstract

The pump is for mounting in the lower part of a distributor unit dispensing metered quantities of pasty or liquid material. It has a main body fixed in the bottom opening of a reservoir containing the product, and a hollow piston sliding in a bore at its lower end. An actuating button is fixed to the lower end of the piston. A valve inside the piston comprises un upper plunger sliding in a bore in the latter, and a needle whose free lower end works against a seat in an ejection port at the lower end of the piston. The needle is spring-loaded against the seat. An annular discharge joint slides between the main body and the piston. A main return and support spring acts between an upper shoulder in the main body and a stop on the piston.
