Abstract

The horizontal stabilised load camping platform (1) is supported at back and front by two lateral shafts (16). The shafts carry four hydraulic pistons (14) whose cylinders are firmly fixed to the vehicle chassis (2), which is hinged (5) to an axle mounted bracket (11). The chassis is also hinged (8) at its other side to the body of a single hydraulic piston (7) which hinges at its lower end to the vehicle axle (3), by another bracket (10). A connecting rod (12) adds rigidity to the axle brackets. The single piston controls sideways roll of the chassis, and the four shaft mounted pistons maintain the platform level during back and forth pitch of the chassis.
