Abstract

The device is made from a plastic, having a flat central portion flanked by side pieces (11, 12). The central portion has a number of spaces (1) formed on each side and symmetrically opposite one another. Each space is formed to enclose more than half the jar body, this clipping in to be held between neck and lid. The tongues (2, 3) formed between the spaces are split to provide elasticity. All edges are reinforced by beading, each jar holding the other in place. The side pieces are flat and formed at right angles to the central portion, their edges being beaded for rigidity.
