Abstract

The safety razor handle (10) of e. g. poloypropylene foam may be large enough for the razor to float on water. A blade support assembly (11) is mounted on a stalk (12) which projects centrally from one (21) of the shorter of the minor faces. The width of the block is approx. equal to the width of the blade support, and the thickness of the block is less than half of the width. The width may be at least 38mm and the two major faces (16, 17) may have a hard plastics skin. The faces of the handle may be concave.
