Abstract
The method of control of an engine consists of deforming a rigid manually operated lever, fixed to a support, within the elasti limit of the material from which the lever is made. The elastic deformation is then detected and measured. A signal, is then transmitted to the power element, whose magnitude is a function of the measurement. The lever (7) has a rod (1) of high resistance steel which is fixed at one of its ends to a pilot unit. The lever has a detector for measuring elastic deformation of the rod under the effects of flexion or torsion exerted on its free end. It also has an element for transmitting, to te power device, signals emitted by the detector.
