Abstract

A flat platform (1) is mounted on wheels (2, 3), one of which has a belt (12) driving a speed reduction box (11) at the front. This, in turn, drives (13) an elevating conveyor (10) which has slats and teeth (16). Bales are gathered onto this conveyor and are gripped between it and an upper, parallel conveyor (7, 17, 18) this upper being adjustable (9, 24) and spring loaded (8). A man on the platform (1) stacks the bales at the rear (23) until they form one large load (5). A cord (20), carried under the platform (19), is used to tie the load together, which is dumped back onto the field for collection and transportation to the storage area.
