Abstract

The smoke generating charge is of the type in which the smoke-emitting pyrotechnic compsn. is provided in the form of compacts. The charge has means for successively igniting and then dispersing the smoke emitted by compacts over a large area, using a propellant powder charge enclosed in a cellular, pref. plastic body. This advantageously has a central bore into which communication passages from each cell open.
