Abstract

The plant for utilisation of recovered heat has a system operating with two different pressures and it uses two liquids with different volatility. The system has a zone for fractionating separation at high pressure and a fractionating mixing section with low pressure. The plant is used for heating dwelling rooms, drying of any substance and for recovery of rejected heat from a cyclically operating thermal system, especially from a nuclear power station, for municipal heating. The tempered sources of the cycle with two different pressures are formed by the gaseous atmosphere of a room to be heated and the hot source is formed by combustion gases and the cold source is formed by air. The flow system uses counterflow on fractionation and the cyclic process steps include compression and expansion stages.
