Abstract

The battery-operated lamp can be worn on the forehead or converted into a hand torch. It has a top elastic strap (1) joining the front and rear sections (7, 11) and keeping them balanced. The front and rear portions can be arranged to fit together by means of dovetail joints, studs etc to form a hand torch, and the top strap can be convertible into a carrying handle, also forming a loop enclosing the battery box to keep it shut. The micro-switch can be accommodated in the reflector housing, being protected from accidental operation by a wide flange on the front plate. The battery box can have a compartment for spare parts.
