Abstract

Device for the processing of bulk materials in countercurrent, using a chamber fitted with injectors directed towards each other, the chamber being connected to a separator provided with pipes leading to the injectors. Each of the pipes leading to the injectors is fitted with an additional separator for the sepn. of that part of the finished produce entrained in the coarse material being returned via the pipes to the injectors for reprocessing. The additional separators are pref. fitted with louvres directing the flow of gas into the pipes, and the main separator is pref. fitted with a conical baffle preventing the mixt. of the fine and coarse sepd. fractions. Used for milling, drying, and/or calcining of sand, ballast, ores, moulding mixts., salts, fertilizers, chemicals, cereals, bones, sugar, dried vegetables, fruits, cement, solid fuels, graphite etc. Output is increased by 5-20% without any increase in fuel expenditure.
