Abstract

The metal section is for use in the manufacture of window-frames which is a U-shape with the end of each side wall (2) also forming a U (6) turned towards the inside. On its inside face is an L-shaped rib turned towards the side U and some distance from it. A second rib is located between the first one and the base of the section, the base being integral with two pieces (50) having arms (50a) perpendicular to the base (4) and extending from it, some distance from the side walls (23) of the section, and arms (50b) parallel to the base being turned towards these side walls.
