Abstract
A stable craft which is substantially unaffected by waves, consists of a cabin supported above the water level by a set of buoyant chambers arranged in a triangle around it with a corresponding set of shafts between the bottoms of the chambers and the cabin. The chambers are vertical, and their bases are interconnected by a horizontal set of ties or cables. The chambers can be inflatable and the inclination of the support shafts can be adjusted for optimum performance. The propulsion unit is mounted at the base of one of the shafts. In an alternative design, a platform in place of the cabin carries a pendulum device. The design can be adapted by fitting sails on the tops of the buoyancy chambers, or by using a paddle type propulsion.
