Abstract

The arrangement for coating or printing an article having two rotatable working cylinders with parallel axes, is constructed such that at least one of the cylinders which is in contact with the product to be coated or printed onto the article is so attached to a continuously operating removal device (20, 30), that it restricts the amount of product to be applied such that the removal device (20) is in prolonged contact with the appropriate cylinder (10, 18), and has at least one roller (21, 25) which is supported in rotational contact with the cylinder (10, 18), and which has a cleaning device such as a scraper (22).
