Abstract

A package particularly for carring bottles is formed of several plastic carrier bags connected by a common central vertical weld line (5) which divides the bags into pairs of compartments (6a-f) for bottles (7). The bags are sides which fold flat, and handles (8) which extend across the weld lines. The compartments may be inflated by air being blown down between two weld lines which form a tubular passage to openings into the compartments, allowing machine filling of the packages.
