Abstract

Protection of fire alarm circuits is achieved with an alarm installation having at each local sector to be protected at least one alarm (H) and an alarm trigger and or automatic fire detector. The alarms are electrically connected in parallel to a central supply unit (B), by two distinct lines which are simultaneously supplied with volts from a source arranged in the central unit. The alarm triggers (A) and the automatic detection (D) are electrically connected and are respectively connected to the central unit. They determine the supply to the alarm supply conductors, preferably by contact breaking. Each of the two lines (conductors (1a, 1b) feeding the alarms is associated within the same cable with an auxiliary conductor (4) which is also connected at the central unit to the supply source (B) by an electronic device.
