Abstract

The vibratory cooling conveyor is particularly for hot castings. It has a trough for the castings supported by springs from a base frame or counterweight. Below the trough (2) is a conduit (9) extending for its length, and whose top is formed by the trough floor (7). Cooling air flows through the conduit in the opposite direction to that in which the castings travel. At the loading end of the trough the conduit can have an air discharge passage to the side, while at the discharge end it has an air inlet pipe.
