Abstract

The apparatus is used medically for measuring humps and comprises a horizontal scale graduated at 10mm. intervals. This scale has a spirit level fitted centrally on the bar and the arm each side has a longitudinal slot for a sliding cursor. Each cursor can be positioned to measure the extent of the hump and each is also provided with a vertical rod. These rods are mounted perpendicularly in the cursors and are graduated at 5mm. intervals. The rods are adjustable for height and give a reading for the height.
