Abstract

derivs. of formulae (I), (II) and (III) and their salts are new. In the formulae, Y is H, cyano, alkylsulphonyl, nitro or CF3; X is =6C alkyl, =6C alkenyl, nitro, CCl3, CF3, CF3-O-, CF3-S-, CF3-SO, CF3-SO2-, CH O-CH2-, cyano, carboxy, carbamyl, halo, hydroxy, acetylamino, amino, N-phenylamino, N,N-diallylamino, alkoxy, morpholino, piperidino, piperazino, pyrrolidino, dimethylamino-dithiocarbamyl, carbalkoxy, alkylthio, mono- or di-alkylamino, N-alkylcarbamyl, N,N-dialkylcarbamyl, alkylsulphinyl or alkylsulphonyl (the alkyl gps. have 1-4C atoms); and n is 0-3. The cpds. are biocides esp. fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, miticides, which are used to improve the growth and/or yield of plants by application to the soil, plants or their seeds.
