Abstract

The teat (1) is engaged elastically in the neck of container (P) and is located by its shoulder (13) and a cup (2). A movable valve member (3) has a peripheral skirt (35) by which its axial movement to and fro in the cup is guided. The member (3) has axial holes (31) around its periphery and staggered with respect to opening (24). When pressure in the teat is above that in the container member (3) seals opening (24). When there is reduced pressure in the teat member (3) moves away from opening (24) so flow occurs from the container into the teat.
