Abstract

Tuyau flexible en caoutchouc ou matière analogue comportant une armature de résistance mécanique liée à une bride rigide dont est munie au moins une extrémité du tuyau caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte successivement à partir de ladite bride : a) au moins une nappe 6 constituée de câbles métalliques faisant avec la direction axiale un angle compris entre 0 et 20 degrés , de préférence voisin de 15 degrés , qui est fixée à la bride et qui s'étend dans une région proche de la paroi externe du tuyau jusqu'à une distance d'environ 15 à 65 cm mesurée à partir du bord interne de la bride; b) au moins une paire 7 de nappes croisées dont la longueur est voisine de 1/3 de celle du tuyau et qui fait suite à la nappe précédente lesdites nappes étant constituées de câbles métalliques faisant avec la direction axiale un angle compris entre 20 et 50 degrés ; c) au moins une paire 8 de nappes croisées dont la longueur est voisine de 1/3 de celle du tuyau et qui fait suite à la nappe précédente, lesdites nappes étant constituées de câbles métalliques faisant avec la direction axiale un angle compris entre 45 et 55 degrés .Flexible hose made of rubber or similar material comprising a reinforcement of mechanical strength linked to a rigid flange with which at least one end of the pipe is provided, characterized in that it comprises successively from said flange: a) at least one layer 6 consisting of metal cables forming an angle of between 0 and 20 degrees with the axial direction, preferably close to 15 degrees, which is fixed to the flange and which extends in a region close to the outer wall of the pipe up to a distance d 'approximately 15 to 65 cm measured from the inner edge of the flange; b) at least one pair 7 of crossed plies the length of which is close to 1/3 of that of the pipe and which follows the previous ply, said plies consisting of metal cables forming an angle of between 20 and 50 with the axial direction degrees ; c) at least one pair 8 of crossed plies whose length is close to 1/3 of that of the pipe and which follows the previous ply, said plies consisting of metal cables forming with the axial direction an angle of between 45 and 55 degrees.
