Abstract

The foldable chair has a U-shaped back frame (1) with a U-shaped base frame (2) at the bottom. A seat frame (3) is hinged to the back frame. The latter forms an angle of 63.5 deg. with the base frame, all components being formed of rectangular cross section tubing. The ends (4) of the base frame are deformed to allow adjacent folded chairs to be nested together. Stops prevent the seat from pivoting beyond in-use and storage positions.
