Abstract

The visor (1) for safety helmets can be raised and the screen pivots around the axis of the peak of the helmet by means of two rivets (2), one on each side. The screen can be locked in the lowered position by a foot which is connected to the peak of the helmet. The peak has a slot in the centre with a stud (3) on which a slot in the foot fits when it is in the lowered position. The foot (4) is fixed to the screen by a tubular rivet (5).
